This is my third pair of these gloves and they’re my favorite spring gloves since the old Marker spring gloves, may they rest in peace. These are comfortable, they fit my hands well providing good dexterity, and they’re generally all the warmth need for any day above 20 degrees or so. I’m a professional mogul coach, so they take heavy abuse from 6 days/wk on the hill of chopping landings, building jumps, and general course maintenance and they hold up reasonably well and last maybe 6-8 months per pair. That sounds quick but when Hestras last a month and Kinkos last 12 months, these are fairly durable. I waterproof the leather with mink oil. Sno-Seal is OK but stays stickier and greasier much longer for a shorter-duration waterproofing. My only real complaint is that the hooks on the Velcro wear out pretty fast. After my first pair, I wear them more loosely to preserve the wrist strap.
